Who made this, and why.
We run a small PETG printing workshop. We built this because the same four problems arrived in our inbox every week.
This tool is run by 3D Guru, a three-person workshop in Mildenhall, Suffolk. We print functional parts in PETG — brackets, jigs, housings, replacements for things nobody sells any more.
The reason it exists
A good share of the files people send us cannot print as they are. Holes in the mesh, faces inside out, a model exported in centimetres, two bodies that were never joined. We would spot it, email the customer, and wait a day or two while they worked out what we meant.
That conversation is the same every time, so we turned it into a page. Now people can see the problem themselves, in their own browser, before anyone has spent anything.
Why it is free
Because it costs us nothing to run. The analysis happens in your browser, not on a server, so there is no bill to recover. We make money in two ways, both of which only happen if you decide you want them: we print the part, or we fix the file. If you take the results and do neither, that is fine.
Nothing is uploaded
The file is read with the browser's own file reader and analysed in memory. It never reaches us. That is not a privacy policy promise, it is how the page is built — you can watch the network tab and see nothing leave. Read the privacy page for the full detail.
The rest of what we do
If you need parts printed, there are two front doors depending on what suits you:

- 3D Guru — our Suffolk workshop, for local collection, trade accounts and anything easier to discuss on the phone.
Same workshop, same machines, same person checking the part before it goes in the post.
