Terms of use.

Using the checker is free and unconditional. These terms cover what it is and is not.

1. What this tool is

3D Print My STL is a free diagnostic aid operated by 3D Guru, Mildenhall, Suffolk. It inspects the geometry of an STL file and reports what it finds.

2. What it is not

It is not a guarantee. A file that passes every check can still fail to print for reasons outside the file — material behaviour, part design, machine condition, or an application the part was never suited to. A file that fails may still print acceptably. The measurements and estimates are indicative and provided in good faith without warranty.

3. No liability

We accept no liability for decisions made on the strength of this tool's output, including wasted material, machine time or missed deadlines. If you need a firm answer on whether a specific part will work, ask us and we will look at it properly.

4. Your files

You keep all rights in anything you analyse. We never receive the file, so we cannot use it. By using the tool you confirm you have the right to print the design.

5. Paid services

File repair, redraw and printing are separate paid services. They are quoted individually and governed by the terms supplied with that quote.

6. Availability

Provided as-is with no uptime commitment. We may change or withdraw it at any time.

7. Governing law

England and Wales.
